Sommet de Chamoussillon

The Sommet de Chamoussillon is a mountain summit in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region with an elevation of about 2100 meters. From this point, visitors can see surrounding Alpine peaks and the valleys of the area.

The mountain was explored by local mountaineers in the 1800s and several routes to its summit were established. These early expeditions contributed to opening up the Alps in this part of France.
