Église Saint-Bonet de Villard-de-Lans

The church of Saint-Bonet is a stone church building in Villard-de-Lans with a central bell tower and stained glass windows casting colored light inside. The altar holds a striking mosaic featuring black and red suns, an artistic work that brings visual interest to the main worship space.

This church has roots going back before the 10th century as a place of worship in the village. It underwent major reconstruction in the 19th century after being abandoned during the French Revolution.

The tabernacle in the Holy Sacrament chapel rests within a 15th-century stone structure preserved from the previous church building.
