Plage de la Petite Afrique

Plage de la Petite Afrique is a beach with white pebbles at the eastern end of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, backed by tall cliffs that rise dramatically from the shore. The cove feels sheltered and intimate, with clear water that slopes gently into deeper areas.

The beach became a popular destination on the French Riviera in the late 1800s when tourism started expanding across the region. Its appeal grew as railway connections brought wealthy visitors from across Europe to the area.

Mediterranean pine trees provide natural shade across parts of the beach, creating cool spots away from direct sun. Beneath their branches sits a children's play area with climbing equipment and a volleyball court, transforming the space into more than just a swimming destination.
