Hall Laissac, Market hall in Montpellier, France.

The Halles Laissac encompasses 24 vendor stalls offering fresh produce, meats, fish, cheeses, and local delicacies from regional producers and artisans.

Inaugurated in 2018, this modern market hall replaced an older structure, continuing the tradition of local commerce at Place Alexandre Laissac in Montpellier.

The marketplace functions as a central gathering space where residents meet vendors, exchange recipes, and participate in the Mediterranean food traditions.

Located near Place de la Comédie, the market operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Sundays until 3:00 PM.

A multicolored, micro-perforated canvas designed by artist Mona Young-Eun KIM crowns the building, representing a melon shape above the market.
