Tbilisi Toys and Dolls Museum, Folk toys and dolls museum in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The museum collection contains traditional Georgian dolls, mechanical toys, international artifacts, and rare furniture across several exhibition rooms.
Founded in 1937 by children's writer Tinatin Tumanishvili, the museum initially started in a nursery school on Atarbegov Street in Tbilisi.
The collection features traditional Georgian folk dolls called Dedofalas, along with Japanese, Chinese, and European dolls representing different cultural traditions.
The museum is currently undergoing renovation and adaptation of a new building, with plans to reopen for visitors in 2024.
Master constructor Raphael Begtabegishvili created mechanical musical toys for the museum, including a doll that plays piano and Georgian dancer figures.
