Zrće

Zrće is a white pebble beach on the northern coast of Pag Island with clear waters. Four major beach clubs line the shore and form the backbone of activity at the location.

The location transformed from a quiet beach into an entertainment hub beginning in the 1980s. This development made it a leading destination for electronic music along the Adriatic coast.

The name Zrće comes from Croatian, possibly referring to the bay's shoulder-like shape. The beach area today centers on a young, international crowd drawn to music and dancing during the summer season.

Regular shuttle buses run between Novalja town and the beach throughout the day and night, with the journey taking about ten minutes either direction. The clubs open in the evening and each offers different music styles.

The four clubs here – Papaya, Noa, Aquarius, and Kalypso – all rank among the world's top one hundred clubs according to DJ Mag. The white pebble beach formed through natural erosion of Pag Island over thousands of years.
