Supetarska Draga

Supetarska Draga is a coastal settlement on the northern shore of Rab Island with a natural harbor and sandy beaches. The village spreads along a sheltered bay where small fishing vessels and larger boats find protected anchorage.

The area has been inhabited since an 11th century Benedictine monastery was established, shaping the region's early development. The monks and their activities laid the foundation for the maritime traditions that followed in this location.

Local fishermen maintain traditional fishing methods, supplying fresh catches to the restaurants and markets throughout the settlement.

The settlement has a modern marina with berths, water, and electricity for boats, making it a practical stop for sailors. The bay offers good protection from wind and waves, so anchoring is safe throughout the year.

The place brings together traditional fishing boats alongside modern yachts, showing different maritime cultures side by side. This mix reveals how an old fishing village coexists with contemporary leisure activities on the water.
