Radovin

Radovin is a settlement in Zadar County that stretches along a slope between Krneza and Slivnica. The area sits about 18 kilometers north of Zadar surrounded by agricultural land and water sources.

Archaeological evidence shows a prehistoric Liburnian settlement once stood here with defensive walls and stone structures. The area continued to be inhabited through Roman times, as pottery and storage vessels from that period confirm.

The residents of Radovin continue traditional agricultural practices, focusing on grape growing and olive cultivation passed through generations.

The settlement is easily accessible via local roads and serves as a central point in the agricultural region. Visitors should note that this is a rural area where some locations require walking to reach.

Excavations at Beretinova gradina uncovered substantial quantities of Roman pottery and storage containers. These findings reveal that the site remained an important location across different historical periods.
