The Ludwig Museum Budapest extends over three floors with 3,300 square meters of exhibition space featuring international and Hungarian contemporary artworks.
The museum, established in 1989 by collectors Peter and Irene Ludwig, relocated from Buda Castle to its current location at Müpa Budapest in 2005.
The permanent collection includes works by American pop artists Andy Warhol, Claes Oldenburg, and Robert Rauschenberg alongside Eastern European art from the 1960s.
Visitors can access the museum from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with free entry included for Müpa Budapest show ticket holders.
The museum incorporated its first NFT artwork into its collection in 2023, marking a significant step in embracing digital art forms.
