The concrete structure rises 197 meters into the sky, featuring an observation deck at 75 meters and a restaurant level at 72 meters.

The construction of this communications tower began in 1968 and concluded with its official opening on April 4, 1973, replacing a former 15-meter lookout.

This television tower transmits multiple Hungarian channels including M1, TV2, and RTL Klub while serving as a central gathering location for local events.

Visitors can climb 459 stairs in the outer ring or take an elevator in the inner ring to reach the observation deck for views of the surrounding region.

The tower foundation consists of a 4-meter thick base with a 22-meter diameter, supporting a reinforced concrete structure weighing 19,000 tons.
