Regnum Marianum Church

The Regnum Marianum Church is a Catholic parish church in Zugló featuring modern architecture across multiple functional areas. The building includes a basement auditorium with seating for about 260 people and a stage for events, along with meeting rooms and spaces for community gatherings.

An earlier church building stood near Városliget from 1925 until 1931 and was demolished in 1951 following World War II. The current structure was built afterward to replace the destroyed parish church.

The church maintains connections with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest and provides religious services for the local Catholic community.

The church is accessible by public transportation and easy to visit, being located in an established urban neighborhood with good connections. Visitors should note that beyond the main sanctuary, various community spaces may be in use for different events and gatherings.

The building's construction uses steel frames combined with transverse ribs as load-bearing elements, creating a modern solution that preserves traditional church forms. This blend of modern engineering and classic design is visible throughout the structure.
