Stefánia Palace and Cultural Centre, Performing arts center in Zugló, Hungary
The Stefánia Palace features a Neo-Baroque design with an octagonal central pavilion and lower wings, incorporating circular and squared windows above entablature moldings.
Initially built between 1885 and 1895 as a casino by German architect Artúr Meining, the palace underwent renovations in 1948 following damage during World War II.
The Hungarian State Army acquired the palace in 1947, establishing it as a center for cultural activities and supporting theatrical performances through various resident groups.
Located at Stefánia Road 34-36 in Budapest, the theater hall accommodates 486 seats with additional spaces designated for visitors with disabilities.
The palace grounds originally included an English park and functioned as a meeting place for city officials under the initial name Park Club.
