The Przemysl monument in Budapest stands in District II near Margaret Bridge on the right bank of the Danube. Its white sandstone pedestal carries a bronze lion trampling Russian flags, with gilded inscriptions of "Przemyśl" on all four sides and the dates 1914–1915 facing the river. A memorial tablet for Hungarian soldiers was added in 2000.

The memorial was built in 1932 to honor soldiers defending Przemysl fortress during intense sieges from 1914 to 1915. This commemoration marks an important chapter in Austro-Hungarian military history.

The name Przemyśl remains the best-known Polish place name in Hungary, tied to the fortress's defence in the First World War. A marble tablet on the monument, in Polish translation, reads: "You fought like lions" at the gate of Hungary. Patriotic ceremonies are held at the monument on the anniversary of the fortress's recapture.

The monument stands on the right bank of the Danube in District II, near Margaret Bridge, at the foot of the Buda hills. It is an open-air memorial reachable on foot from the riverside promenade, so it can be seen at any hour. The gilded inscription faces the Danube, while the memorial tablet added in 2000 is on that same river side.
