The Serbian Orthodox church in Székesfehérvár is a baroque structure featuring an ornate facade with decorative stone details and religious symbols on its exterior. The interior follows Orthodox spatial organization with its characteristic architectural elements and layout.

Serbs arrived in Székesfehérvár with the Ottoman army and had their own church here by 1601. The 18th-century building was rebuilt several times: in 1723 it was still made of wood and clay, in 1756 a tower was added, and between 1770 and 1772 a larger church was built over the old one, which was then demolished. The mason József Kershoffer carried out the work while services continued, and the furnishings were completed in 1780.

The church displays traditional Orthodox features like an iconostasis dividing the space and religious artwork throughout its interior. Visitors can observe how these elements shape the way people move through and experience the sacred space.

The building is centrally located in Székesfehérvár and easily reached on foot from nearby areas. Visitors should be aware that services follow the Orthodox calendar, so checking the schedule beforehand helps plan a visit appropriately.

The new church was built over the old one so that services never stopped, and the old building was demolished only after the new one was finished in 1771. The mason József Kershoffer carried out this unusual arrangement, agreed with the parish.
