The Sacred Heart Church stands on Rákóczi Street with its light-colored walls and geometric architectural elements from the early 20th century period.
Constructed in 1911 under architect Jenő Bory's direction, this building marked a milestone as Hungary's first reinforced concrete religious structure.
The church contains an organ manufactured by the Angster factory and maintains records of local marriages and baptisms dating back to 1928.
Religious services occur daily at 7:00 AM on weekdays, at 6:00 PM on Saturdays, and at both 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM on Sundays.
The building originated from a former chapel of the Institute and Orphanage, evolving into an independent parish by 1923 and achieving full parish status in 1928.
