Victoria's Way, Meditative sculpture park in Roundwood, Ireland
Black granite sculptures stand along winding paths through 22 acres of woodland, featuring Hindu deities and philosophical figures carved by Indian artists.
The park opened in 1989 under the name Victoria's Way, reflecting a 20-year collaboration between Irish and Indian craftsmen to create spiritual artworks.
Fourteen large sculptures represent spiritual enlightenment through Eastern philosophy, including representations of Ganesh, Shiva, and contemplative figures in black granite.
The sculpture park maintains an entry fee of 5 euros per adult, with payment collected through an honor system when staff members are not present.
A skeletal Buddha figure and an enormous stone finger emerge from the ground among traditional Hindu deity sculptures in this woodland setting.
