Ein Iron, Agricultural moshav in Menashe Regional Council, Israel.
Ein Iron is a moshav settlement located in the eastern Sharon plain, situated northeast of Hadera within the Menashe Regional Council. The community sits approximately 66 meters above sea level and operates as an agricultural settlement where residents maintain individual farms alongside shared cooperative activities.
The settlement was founded in 1934 by Polish Jewish immigrants who arrived during the Second Alijah wave of migration to Palestine. German Jewish immigrants subsequently joined the community in following years, contributing to its growth and development.
The residential pattern of Ein Iron follows the traditional moshav structure, where families maintain individual farms while participating in cooperative agricultural activities.
The settlement is a small, quiet community centered on agricultural operations and farm life. The best time to visit is during the cooler months from October to April, when farming activities are more visible and the weather is more comfortable for exploring the area.
The Fishbein farm produces an unusual alcoholic beverage made from passion fruit with approximately 12 percent alcohol content. This specialized production demonstrates how local farmers have extended beyond traditional crops to develop innovative products for the regional market.
