Ralli Museum, Art museum in Caesarea, Israel.
The Ralli Museum consists of two separate buildings in Caesarea, Israel, displaying European paintings, Latin American art, and sculptures across multiple exhibition halls and courtyards. The complex sits within a large garden with palm trees and sculptures, with architecture designed to bring natural light into the exhibition spaces through expansive windows.
Harry Recanati founded the museum in 1993 as part of an international network of Ralli Museums dedicated to preserving Jewish culture and Latin American artworks. This establishment made Caesarea an important location for collecting and displaying these artistic traditions.
The second building displays European paintings from the 16th to 18th centuries with biblical themes alongside marble statues of Jewish scholars. This collection connects religious artistic traditions with tributes to important cultural figures.
The museum is located on Rothschild Boulevard in Caesarea and is open Monday through Saturday, though closed on Wednesdays. Entry is free and ample parking is available on the grounds for visitors.
The grounds span approximately 40 hectares of sculpture garden with palm trees, making it an unusually large art complex. This expansive garden transforms a museum visit into a walk through a natural setting filled with artworks.
