Re'im is a kibbutz in Eshkol Regional Council in southern Israel, positioned on a plateau 141 feet (43 meters) above sea level. The settlement sits between two highways where two streams meet near the northern Negev.
Members of the Israel Boy and Girl Scouts Federation established the kibbutz in 1949 after demobilizing from the Palmach. The community grew from a group of former fighters who began farming the land after the War of Independence.
