Gerard Behar Center, Cultural center in Jerusalem, Israel
The Gerard Behar Center contains two theaters, including a main performance hall with 650 seats and a secondary theater accommodating 200 spectators.
The building gained international attention in 1961 when it hosted the trial of Nazi officer Adolf Eichmann, who faced charges of crimes against humanity.
The center presents independent theater productions, dance performances, musical concerts, and children's shows throughout the year, reaching over 263,000 participants annually.
Located at 11 Bezalel Street, the center provides accessible facilities for individuals with disabilities and offers parking at reduced rates after 5 PM.
The facility houses two resident dance companies, Kolben and Vertigo, while maintaining an exhibition that documents the Eichmann trial proceedings.
