Crocodiles in Hamat Gader

The facility maintains different species of crocodiles in separate fenced pools connected by floating bridges, creating specific environments for alligators, Nile crocodiles, and Indian gharials.

The farm opened in 1981 with American alligators from Florida, later expanding to include Nile crocodiles from Africa, caimans from South America, and gharials from India.

The facility processes crocodile skins for luxury products and sends them to European manufacturers while maintaining a focus on species preservation.

Visitors can observe feeding sessions throughout the day and learn about different crocodile species through guided tours suitable for all age groups.

Located near thermal springs with temperatures reaching 42°C, this farm houses approximately 200 reptiles, making it the largest crocodile facility in the Middle East.
