Namdapha National Park

The national park encompasses 1,985 square kilometers of dense tropical rainforest along the border between India and Myanmar, featuring altitudes from 200 to 4,500 meters.

The Government of Arunachal Pradesh designated this territory as a tiger reserve in 1983, protecting the natural habitat of numerous endangered species.

The Singpho, Tangsa, and Lisu tribes maintain their traditional way of life near the park boundaries, practicing sustainable agricultural methods passed through generations.

Deban Forest Camp, located next to the Noa-Dihing River, serves as the primary entry point for visitors planning treks through the park's wilderness.

This national park contains all four big cat species of India: tiger, leopard, snow leopard, and clouded leopard within its extensive forest territory.
