Noida City Centre metro station, Metro station in Noida, India
Noida City Centre is an elevated metro station on the Blue Line of Delhi Metro, located in Sector 39 of Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It has two platforms, with trains running toward Noida Electronic City on one side and Dwarka Sector 21 on the other.
The station opened in November 2009 as part of an expansion of the Delhi Metro network and served as the Blue Line terminus for nearly a decade. It was officially renamed Wave City Center in 2015, though both names remain in use today.
The station is also known as Wave City Center, a name that points to the commercial area right next to it. On weekday mornings and evenings, the platforms fill with office workers and students heading to the surrounding sectors of Noida.
The station has elevators and ramps, making it straightforward to reach the platforms even with luggage or a stroller. Parking is available nearby, and a large shopping mall is right next to the exit, which helps to orient yourself when you arrive.
In 2013, cracks appeared in parts of the station structure and the cause was never fully determined. Trains slowed down through the area as a precaution while repairs were carried out, yet no nearby stations showed similar problems.
