The Goa Science Centre spans across 5 acres of land, featuring indoor galleries dedicated to physics, biology, and environmental science with interactive displays and experiments.
The National Council of Science Museums and Goa's Department of Science Technology established this educational institution on December 19, 2001 to advance scientific knowledge.
Students, families, and tourists from various regions visit the center regularly, participating in science demonstrations, workshops, and educational programs throughout the year.
The center contains a 140-seat air-conditioned auditorium for presentations, a digital planetarium for astronomy shows, and a multimedia computer laboratory for technology education.
The outdoor science park combines natural elements with large-scale exhibits where visitors use pulleys and ropes to learn mechanical principles through physical interaction.
