St.Thomas Dayara, Vettikkal

The monastery was established in 1125 when a cross from St. Thomas Church in Mulanthuruthy was placed at Vettikkal to mark the boundary between the Royal Provinces of Kochi and Travancore. This connection to St. Thomas highlights the site's importance in the region's early Christian history.
