Srikalahasti mandal is an administrative region in Tirupati district consisting of multiple rural settlements and a town as its center. The area includes farming communities spread across a landscape shaped by the Swarnamukhi River, which flows through the mandal's territory.
The mandal was originally part of Chittoor district before being transferred to the newly created Tirupati district in 2022. This administrative reorganization shifted the mandal's jurisdiction while maintaining its local governance structure.
