Tomb of Bakhtiar Khan

The octagonal mausoleum stands on a low plinth and features twenty-two doors with the main entrance positioned on the eastern side of the structure.

Built in 1568, this tomb became the final resting place for Mohammad Bakhtiyar Khilji, containing thirty grave platforms within its internal chambers.

The structure incorporates Indo-Islamic architectural elements and displays inscribed Quranic verses throughout its walls, representing the religious traditions of the period.

Located 4 kilometers from Chanpur and 16 kilometers from Bhabua district headquarters, the tomb can be reached through the main roads connecting these urban centers.

The mausoleum grounds cover 88 by 70 square meters, with a dome reaching an outer radius of 42 meters, near a small flowing river.
