Ahmad Shah's Tomb, Royal mausoleum in Ahmedabad, India.

The square-shaped tomb features a central dome, four corner domes, and intricate stone lattice windows displaying Islamic architectural elements.

Ahmad Shah, who ruled from 1411 to 1442, established Ahmedabad as the capital city and transformed it into a major trade center.

The tomb houses the remains of Ahmad Shah, his son Muhammad Shah II, and his grandson Qutb-ud-Din Ahmad Shah II in separate chambers.

The monument opens daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM without entry fees, though women cannot enter the central chamber.

The ninth generation of Naubat musicians performs traditional orchestral announcements daily at sunset and night from the drum room above the entrance.
