Hiranandani Gardens, Mumbai

Hiranandani Gardens is a large residential township in Powai containing different building types spread across an expansive site. The development includes housing options, shops, schools, and facilities that support daily living for residents.

The township was founded in the late 1980s on barren hillside land after an agreement between a private developer and the state government. This project marked a turning point in housing development for this part of Mumbai.

When first being built, more than 100,000 trees were planted to transform the bare landscape into a green space. This planting effort shapes the appearance and feel of the entire site to this day.
