Dhyana Buddha statue

The Dhyana Buddha statue rises 38 meters tall on the Krishna River's bank, built from concrete and stone. This colossal figure sits serenely overlooking the water, dominating the surrounding landscape.

The monument was completed in 2015 on a site that served as an important center during the Satavahana dynasty between the 3rd century BCE and the 3rd century CE. This connection to ancient history grounds the structure in a region with deep religious roots.
