Ibrahim Lodi's Tomb

The rectangular tomb structure rests on a double-terraced platform accessed by stone steps, featuring traditional Lakhauri brick construction and architectural elements.

Ibrahim Lodi, the last Sultan of Delhi, met his end during the First Battle of Panipat in 1526, leading to the establishment of Mughal rule.

The tomb stands near the dargah of Sufi saint Bu Ali Shah, forming part of a larger collection of monuments that tell the story of Indian heritage.

Located near the tehsil office in Panipat, the tomb remains open to visitors throughout the day and receives regular maintenance from the Municipal Corporation.

The British administration rebuilt this memorial in 1867, adding an inscription in a niche near the grave to document its reconstruction.
