The park serves as an educational hub for local schools and families, promoting wildlife conservation awareness while being integrated with cultural sites including a prayer hall, gurudwara, mosque, and theosophical lodge within its premises.
The zoo operates Monday through Thursday and Saturday through Sunday from 9:15 AM to 6:30 PM, with entry fees of INR 20 for adults and INR 5 for children, accessible via the Phool Bagh Gurudwara bus stop.
The zoo uniquely combines wildlife conservation with historical heritage by being located within the historic Phool Bagh garden complex, offering visitors both animal observation and cultural exploration in a single location.
