National Etruscan Museum "Rocca Albornoz", Archaeological museum in Viterbo, Italy.

The National Etruscan Museum occupies three levels within the medieval Rocca Albornoz fortress, displaying extensive collections of Etruscan artifacts and architectural elements.

Cardinal Gil Alvarez Carillo de Albornoz commissioned the construction of this fortress in 1354, which transformed from military use into a museum space in 1981.

The exhibition halls contain reconstructions of ancient Etruscan houses from Acquarossa, complete with architectural details and decorative terracotta elements from daily life.

The museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday through Sunday between 08:30 and 19:30, offering full wheelchair accessibility throughout the exhibition spaces.

The museum houses the remarkable chariot tomb from Ischia di Castro, dating to the sixth century BC, along with silver artifacts from local excavations.
