San Silvestro, L'Aquila

San Silvestro is a church in L'Aquila built in Romanesque style with three interior naves that end in polygonal arches and covered by a wooden roof structure. A prominent rose window with gothic design decorates the front facade of the building.

Construction of this church took place between the 13th and 14th centuries, initiated by residents from the nearby Castello di Brincioni and documented in records from 1350. This founding period reflects the medieval development of the city itself.
