Collegiate Church of St. Secondus, Gothic collegiate church in Piazza San Secondo, Asti, Italy

The church follows a Latin cross plan with three naves supported by arches and cross vaults, featuring a central bell tower and crypt.

Construction of the current building began in 1256, replacing an earlier structure that stood outside the city walls since the ninth century.

The church preserves a wooden crucifix by Michele Enatem from 1658 and displays the Polittico dei Magi by Gandolfino da Roreto.

The church opens daily from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, offering mass services at 10:00 AM and 6:15 PM on weekdays.

The first chapel of the right aisle houses the Carroccio and ceremonial drapes from the Palio of Asti, held annually in September.
