Galleria comunale d'arte

The Galleria Comunale d'Arte contains over 3000 artworks, including sculptures, paintings, and graphic works from late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The museum building was originally a Barefoot Carmelite monastery from the 17th century and underwent multiple transformations before opening as an art gallery in 1933.

The collection features works by Italian masters including Giacomo Balla, Carlo Carrà, Giorgio de Chirico, Renato Guttuso, and Giorgio Morandi.

The museum provides wheelchair accessibility throughout its premises and maintains regular operating hours for visitors to explore the extensive art collection.

During 1931, the institution carried the name 'Galleria Mussolini' for a brief period before closing in 1938 and reopening under its current name in 1949.
