La Cialma

La Cialma rises to an elevation of 2,193 meters, featuring steep meadows that branch off from the main dirt road leading to its peak point.

The mountain contains a commemorative Cai di Rivarolo plaque at its summit, marking its long-standing status as a destination for alpine expeditions.

Local mountaineering traditions in the Locana area focus on La Cialma as a center for both summer hiking and winter ski touring activities.

Two primary hiking routes access the summit: a 9.47-kilometer path from the chairlift station and a 17.4-kilometer trail from Rifugio Santa Pulenta.

Following the closure of its cable car service, La Cialma transformed from a conventional ski resort into a natural destination for independent ski touring.
