Palazzo Sanvitale

Palazzo Sanvitale is a Neoclassical palace in central Parma featuring a facade with classical columns and symmetrical proportions organized around a square courtyard. The building contains exhibition galleries arranged across multiple wings.

The building originated in the 16th century and underwent significant modernization in the late 18th century by a renowned architect. This renovation transformed its exterior and gave it its present Neoclassical appearance.

The palace houses two museums displaying works by a 20th-century Parmesan painter and contemporary collections. Visitors can trace the artistic evolution across the exhibition rooms.
