Palazzo Sanvitale

Palazzo Sanvitale features a grand facade with classical columns, decorative motifs, and a symmetrical design divided into three distinct sections around a square courtyard.

The palace, originally built in the 16th century by the Lalatta family, underwent major renovations by architect Angelo Rasori in the late 18th century.

The building houses the Amedeo Bocchi Museum, displaying works of the 20th-century Parmesan painter, and the Renato Vernizzi Museum established in 2014.

Located at Piazzale Sanvitale 1, the palace maintains regular visiting hours and offers guided tours through its museum collections and historical spaces.

Several ground floor rooms contain preserved frescoes in the Baglionesque style and additional artworks dating back to the late 16th century.
