Parco del Poggio

Parco del Poggio is a green space in the Colli Aminei district laid out across different levels, offering various areas for walking and spending time. The grounds include pathways, seating areas, and a small lake with viewing platforms.

The park opened in 2001 as part of a Naples urban initiative to create green spaces in densely built residential neighborhoods. The project aimed to provide local residents with access to outdoor nature.

Throughout the year, the park hosts community events, concerts, and performances on its outdoor platform, bringing together local residents.

The site is located near Colli Aminei metro station on Line 1, which is easily accessible on foot. The park is open daily, with extended hours during warmer months and reduced hours in winter.

Several viewpoints within the grounds offer views of Mount Vesuvius and Parco di Capodimonte, placing the green space within the city's broader landscape. These sightlines connect the park to the geography and history surrounding it.
