Palazzo dei Rettori, Renaissance palace in Belluno, Italy
The Palazzo dei Rettori displays a façade with decorative stone elements, featuring a portico supported by three round arches and columns with ornate capitals.
The palace functioned as the administrative center from 1491, when Venetian rector Maffeo Tiepolo commissioned the first lodge with a three-arch arcade on the western side.
The interior spaces contain multiple rooms that maintain their original Renaissance layout, including the central hall with its Sansovino wooden beam ceiling.
The building currently serves as the Prefecture of Belluno, located at Via Duomo, with public access available through prior arrangement at 0437952499.
The square bell tower, constructed between 1536 and 1547, was designed by Fiesolane friar Valerio da San Vittore following specific architectural principles.
