The Sacrario Militare dello Stelvio is a war memorial in the Alps near Bormio built from stone structures and monuments. The site contains numerous graves and memorial plaques dedicated to Italian soldiers who died during the First World War.

The memorial was established in response to the heavy losses suffered in the Alpine war between Italy and Austria-Hungary during the First World War. It was built to preserve the memory of soldiers who died fighting in these strategically important mountain regions.

The shrine is a military ossuary: the remains of 64 Italian soldiers, moved here from the abandoned war cemeteries of Spondigna and San Ranieri, rest in loculi set into the walls of the triumphal arch. Visitors read the names on the niches and on the stone wall built outside, and the site is still used for commemorations of the Alpine front.

The shrine stands directly on the SS38 road along the Braulio Valley, on the stretch between Bormio and the Giogo di Santa Maria pass, so it can be reached by car without a detour. The arch and the stone wall outside are seen from the roadside; there is no path or climb involved.

The shrine was designed by architect Pietro Del Fabbro as a Roman triumphal arch, with the fallen soldiers' loculi set into the arch's walls and a stone wall built outside it. The 64 Italian military personnel buried here were transferred from the decommissioned war cemeteries of Spondigna and San Ranieri.
