Torre di Montebolzone

The Torre di Montebolzone stands 20 meters tall with a quadrangular base, featuring stone construction at the bottom and brick walls at the top.

Built around 1250, the tower endured significant damage in 1243 when Swabian troops destroyed the surrounding castle during Federico II's military campaign.

The tower's name originates from 'bolzone,' referring to a battering ram's iron head in German, reflecting the military heritage of this region.
