Palazzo della Provincia, Provincial administrative palace in Piazza Caduti per la Libertà, Ravenna, Italy
The palace features a portico leading to the main entrance and comprises four buildings arranged around a central garden with Byzantine architectural elements.
Architect Giulio Ulisse Arata designed the palace between 1925 and 1928 on the site of a former 17th-century residence of the Rasponi family.
The Council Room displays coats of arms from provincial municipalities, while the Hall of the President contains paintings depicting Ravenna by artists Giovanni Maioli and Antonio Morocutti.
The building houses provincial government offices and maintains its administrative functions while allowing visitors to explore its architectural features during business hours.
The palace incorporates remnants of the original Rasponi building, including a Neo-Gothic tower, a crypt, and mosaic flooring from the Basilica of San Severo in Classe.
