Palazzo Rasponi dalle Teste

Palazzo Rasponi dalle Teste is a noble residence in Ravenna with a facade measuring roughly 70 meters across. The front displays carved faces including lion heads and wrapped Moor head sculptures as its distinctive ornaments.

The palace began in 1650 as a project for Giovanni Rasponi and evolved over more than a century. Work continued until 1738 when Ippolito Rasponi oversaw the final phases of construction.

The main floor features stucco work and ancestor busts that show how the aristocracy furnished their homes during this period. This decoration reveals the importance placed on craftsmanship and family pride among the wealthy families of the era.
