The Basilica di Santa Trofimena features three naves divided by pillars covered with polychrome marble and contains four chapels on each side.
Construction of the current neoclassical structure began in 1747, replacing an older cathedral that dated back to 1093 and measured 38.40 meters in length.
The basilica holds the relics of Saint Trofimena in a marble urn within the apse, accompanied by a carved bas-relief depicting the sleeping Martyr.
Located in central Minori facing the sea, the basilica contains informational materials about its architecture and religious significance for visitors.
The building includes a sundial on its facade and houses an altarpiece of the Crucifixion by Marco Pino da Siena from the 16th century.
