Spiaggia di Portixeddu, Public beach in Fluminimaggiore, Italy.

Spiaggia di Portixeddu stretches for about three kilometers with golden sand bordered by natural dunes and Mediterranean plants along the shore. Rock formations along the coastline create natural coves that offer sheltered swimming spots.

Archaeological remains scattered throughout the area show traces of the Nuragic civilization that settled in Sardinia during the Bronze Age. These ancient people left evidence that reveals how long this coastal region has been inhabited.

Fishing families have shaped daily life here for generations, and their catch finds its way to nearby restaurants serving traditional seafood dishes. The beach remains a gathering place where locals maintain these time-honored practices.

Multiple entry points with parking facilities provide easy access to the beach. Restaurants and small shops are within walking distance, making it convenient to spend several hours here.

Pine forests back the shore and create a natural frame for the beach, while hidden rock pools change in size with the tide. These secluded spots offer peaceful swimming away from busier sections of the main beach.
