Pinacoteca civica Bruno Molajoli, Art museum in historic center of Fabriano, Italy.

The Pinacoteca Civica Bruno Molajoli is housed in a historic building and displays medieval artworks, frescoes, and carved wooden sculptures. The spaces showcase pieces from different periods, offering a view of the artistic evolution that took place in the region.

The museum was founded in 1862 and received its current name in 1988 to honor Bruno Molajoli, an art historian and director of Fine Arts from the city. The renaming recognized his contribution to understanding and preserving the region's artistic heritage.

The collection features works by local artists Allegretto Nuzi and Antonio da Fabriano, reflecting the artistic tradition that shaped this region. Flemish tapestries from the 15th to 17th centuries hang alongside these pieces, showing how foreign artists influenced local taste.

The museum is housed within a historic hospital building and can be explored at a leisurely pace, with each room presenting a new group of artworks. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes since walking through the different areas takes some time.

The museum houses a special section called Digital Creatives featuring artworks created by kindergarten children from Fabriano for their peers. This unusual addition brings together traditional artwork with fresh expressions from young creators in the community.
