Tōgō is a town in central Aichi Prefecture with a population of around 44,000 and covers approximately 18 square kilometers. The area consists mainly of residential neighborhoods, with several golf courses distributed throughout.
The town was created in 1906 from the merger of Morowa and Haruki villages, though it did not become an official city until 1970. This later change occurred as part of broader administrative reorganizations in the prefecture.
