Kasukabe Station is an above-ground railway interchange in Kasukabe, Japan, where the Tobu Skytree Line and the Tobu Urban Park Line meet. The station has two island platforms and one side platform serving a total of seven tracks.
The station opened on August 27, 1899, under the name 粕壁駅. On September 1, 1949, it received its current name Kasukabe Station.
The station sits in a city that inspired the manga series Lucky Star and Crayon Shin-chan. Visitors often notice references to these works in the surrounding area, and some travelers come specifically to explore locations from the stories.
The station offers ticket counters, escalators, elevators, and lockers for the more than 71,000 daily passengers. Waiting areas and an information center help with orientation across the different sections of the station.
