Shintoku Station is a railway stop on the Nemuro Main Line in Hokkaido featuring one island platform, one side platform, and three tracks. The station handles both local and express trains serving the area and connecting it to other parts of the prefecture.
The station opened in 1907 as part of early railway expansion across Hokkaido. Since 2024, it has served as the western terminus of the eastern segment following adjustments to the main line route.

From April 2024, Shintoku Station will become the western terminus of the eastern segment of the Nemuro Main Line following regional route modifications.
